Hydraulic dock leveller at distribution centre loading bay

Loading Bay Equipment

Hydraulic Dock Leveller

Three-cylinder hydraulic dock leveller bridging floor-to-trailer differences up to 100 mm with push-button operation.

Hydraulic dock levellers bridge the height gap between the loading bay floor and the truck bed—push-button operation eliminates manual lifting effort, reducing operator fatigue and injury risk while maintaining consistent forklift approach angles across mixed trailer fleets. Three independent hydraulic cylinders for deck and lip movement, anti-skid checkered platform, and mechanical safety lock-out for maintenance positioning.

Engineering notes

Three-cylinder hydraulic system—two cylinders for independent deck movement, one for lip extension—provides smooth, controlled bridging with precise adjustment of deck angle and lip position to match the trailer bed.

Anti-skid checkered platform surface reduces slipping risk during forklift and pedestrian traffic; rubber bumpers absorb trailer contact and prevent structural damage to the dock face.

Mechanical safety lock-out device secures the deck for maintenance access; power-failure hold maintains the last position without hydraulic pressure—preventing uncontrolled drop on power outage.

Accommodates transverse vehicle-to-bay level differences up to 100 mm and adapts to various standard trailer heights encountered across mixed commercial fleets.
